The weekend this photograph was taken is one I’ll always remember — my friend came to visit me in Amsterdam. Have you ever thought about how differently two people can experience the very same place? That day, tired of returning to the familiar corners and the same cafés, we let the city take the lead, giving it the chance to guide us and reveal itself all over again. It allowed me to see streets I knew so well — and the people who filled them — from an entirely different perspective.
